SymptomsA customer registered or transferred domain under their account in PBA-E.
After order provisioning finished a customer received two notifications (so called 'welcome emails') for each registered/transferred domain.
CauseThe reason why a customer received two notifications for each registered domain is most probably in the fact that notifications are configured in two places:
- service plan
In order to check whether Event Manager is configured to send notifications about registered/transferred domain perform the following actions:
- log into PBA-E control panel as Provider
- go to Top > Configuration Director > Event Manager Settings > Event Types > choose the event "Creation Completed" > switch to the tab "Event Handlers"
- on the screen 00.00.52 you will see two handlers with the following parameters:
- Object - MESSAGE
- Method - SubscriptionNotification
If Provider configured notification templates in domain service plans than customers will get double notifications which will be sent by the event "Creation Completed" and by order processing system.
