Impossible to login to Plesk Billing, SoftDRM License Error is displayed on login page http://domain.com/app-modernbill-admin
Additional information: The problem is specific to Plesk Billing version 5.x only, solution should not be applied to any other version.
Login to your client area at https://billing.modernbill.com/app-modernbill-client
Select appropriate license package, click on Manage/Get support
Click on Regenerate License under SoftDRM Licensing Service
Insert License Install Location (like yourdomain.com). Please note that yourdomain.com and www.yourdomain.com are different install domains. Regenerate.
A new license shows up in the box. Copy and paste all of this key into a new file called "newkey.php". Upload this file to your Plesk billing directory in "lib-modernbill/include/config/".
Go to your Plesk Billing admin login page (app-modernbill-admin). You should see an orange screen with instructions telling you to rename the file you uploaded from "newkey.php" to "key.php". Rename the file you uploaded (newkey.php) to "key.php".
- Refresh the page and login to your Plesk Billing. At the bottom of the page in Plesk Billing your license client account and type should show correctly.
