While trying to create a VPS or register an existing VPS in POA Provider, you get the following error:
VZ Template <Template Name> is not registered.
<Template Name> is the name of a particular OS or application template template.
Information about the template is absent in the POA database.
In case of missing OS template:
Use the attached script
add-os.sh to add records about the OS template into the POA database.
Copy the script to the POA management node, run it and follow the instructions: enter distribution name, distribution version, and template name without the architecture suffix (x86 or x86_64).
For example, if you need to register the EZ OS template for Fedora Core 9, then you need to enter the following data:
Enter linux distribution name: Fedora Enter linux distribution version: 9 Enter template name without architecture (example: .fedora-core-9): .fedora- core-9
As a result of the script execution, you will see an output like the following:
BEGIN UPDATE 10 UPDATE 13 INSERT 852226 1 INSERT 852227 1 INSERT 852228 1 INSERT 852229 1 COMMIT
After that, you will be able to create and/or register VPSs based on EZ templates Fedora Core 9 x86 and x86_64 in POA.
In case an application template is missing:
- Make sure that the template is located in
/usr/local/pem/install/tarballs/templateson POA management node
- Add the template through POA PP in Service Director > Virtuozzo Manager > Application Templates
