Symptoms

Any change, like assigning Office 365 license to a user or attempt to purchase additional license is not applied to the Microsoft Online Portal. The following error is displayed in CCP:

subscriptionId must be set

Cause

The subscription was transferred from the syndication to CSP program and currently belongs to the one of the 2 following offers:

  • Office 365 Business Premium (Syndication Transition) - Offer ID aa98032c-5403-472f-b24f-f6654846b15d
  • Office 365 Business Essentials (Syndication Transition) - Offer ID b2016e73-d9ad-4758-b8b8-d5c001bdf411

After transfer, the subscription was imported to OA to a corresponding service plan. Later, in the activation parameters of the corresponding resource type, the offer ID was replaced by one of the below:

  • Office 365 Business Premium - Offer ID 031c9e47-4802-4248-838e-778fb1d2cc05
  • Office 365 Business Essentials - Offer ID bd938f12-058f-4927-bba3-ae36b1d2501c

Resolution

Please contact Odin Technical Support in order to bring the subscription into consistent state.
