Symptoms

Customer tries to migrate VE from one Virtuozzo hardware node to another. Both target and planned destination nodes have OACI Provisioning Attributes assgined, but the list of migration targets does not include nodes with provisioning attribute.

Cause

Affected subscription does not have provisioning attribute assigned.

Resolution

By default, OACI provisioning attributes are not assigned to existing subscriptions when one assigns an attribute to hardware node. Therefore, nodes without any provisioning attributes are only shown upon attempt of migration of VE which existed before attributes creation.

To resolve the issue and allow VEs to migrate freely, please unassign provisioning attributes from hardware nodes. To unassign an attribute, follow the steps below:

  1. Login to PCP
  2. Navigate: Cloud Infrastructure -> Provisioning attributes
  3. Click "Assign Provisioning Attribute(s) to Virtualization Node" and revoke an attribute from required nodes
