Symptoms

After a subscription is transferred to another account, customers can no longer view information about domains in CCPv2. They encounter an error similar to the following:

Returned status 404. Message: undefined

HTTP request "http://example.com:8080/aps/2/resources/<resource UID>/features" returns 404 (Not Found).

Cause

This is a known software issue, "POA-113408: zoneinfo APS resource is not linked to new account in domain subscription transfer".

Resolution

Odin has implemented a script called POA-113408-fix-domain-reginfo-owner.py, to solve this problem automatically.

The script must be placed on the management node (the recommended path is /usr/local/pem/share). The script can be executed under CentOS 6 and CentOS 7, and can work only with Odin Automation 7.0, 7.1, and 7.2.

Note: The script is a temporary solution. Therefore, after the issue POA-113408 is resolved, the script will no longer be needed.

How to use the script

Run the script with Python:

python POA-113408-fix-domain-reginfo-owner.py

It will correct all inconsistencies by updating the database.

You can run the script as many times as needed and you can add it to a cron task.

Note

If you encounter any issues, contact our technical support service for assistance. Attach the output of the script to the ticket.
