Symptoms

Periodic task Azure CSP: check budget cap fails with the following output:

Last execution output: An unexpected error has occurred.

In /var/log/azure.log on the Application Endpoint the following is observed:

Cause

The end date of a current billing period is in the past, however the application expects this date to be in the future.

This happens because some reports may be active for several months.

The issue is acknowledged as APSA-19050.

Resolution

Contact your Technical Account Manager to trace the status of the issue.
