Symptoms

Office 365 task Provisioning "Subscription" fails:

Can't update a subscription with deleted status.

The following error message appears in the Office 365 sitelog:

ERROR aps_endpoint: SubscriptionsController.Post finished by exception Microsoft.Store.PartnerCenter.Exceptions.PartnerException: Can't update a subscription with deleted status
ERROR aps_endpoint: Microsoft.Store.PartnerCenter.Exceptions.PartnerException: Can't update a subscription with deleted status

Cause

The cause a software-related issue APSA-19009: Can't update a subscription with deleted status.

Resolution

Please upgrade the Office 365 APS application to the version 17.2 or later.
