Symptoms

Resource The bandwidth a Virtual machine is allowed to use for its disk I/O operations (iolimitvm or iolimit) is propagated to a Virtual Machine 1000 times lesser than it is defined in Billable Resources tab of related Virtual Machine Hosting plan.

For example, in the Hosting Plan The bandwidth a Virtual machine is allowed to use for its disk I/O operations is set as 20 MB/s, but Virtual Machines based on that plan have it set as 0,02 MB/s.

Cause

Such behavior was classified as software issue PBAS-30651 and will be fixed in future OBAS releases.

Hotfix

Please download the hotfix and install it by running the commands below:

# rpm -Uvh hspc-pserver-4.5.7-52.swsoft.x86_64.rpm
# service hspcd restart

Warning: Restart of the hspcd service will cause OBAS downtime for about 10-60 seconds.

Hotfix installation also fixes issues PBAS-30652 and PBAS-30665.
