Question

Account administrator password is not visible in CCPv1 for several subscriptions. However, there are subscriptions with non-empty password field. How to explain this behavior?

Answer

Password field is empty for subscriptions, created with Registering New Customers with Existing Microsoft Accounts option specified, since it is not possible to retrieve user's password from the Microsoft side. Also, password is empty as well for subscriptions which are upgraded from APS1 to APS2 or imported to OA directly.

Password field is not empty for subscriptions provisioned with "Create new Microsoft Account" option specified.
