Question

Is there a way to change ports Apache2 uses?

Answer

The ports Apache2 uses on a web server are defined in the Apache2 configuration file on the server in question.

[root@web ~]#  less /hsphere/local/config/httpd2/httpd.conf
...
<IfDefine !SSL>
   Listen 80
</IfDefine>

<IfDefine SSL>
   Listen 80
   Listen 443
</IfDefine>

...

Please change 443 to the port of your choice in the file and restart Apache2 for the change to come into force.
