Symptoms

The following error appears on attempt to import APS package in PCP:

Package uploading failed: couldn't connect to host. (URL: https://apscatalog.com/storage/application.app.zip)

Corresponding "downloading APS package" task fails with the same output.

Cause

Incorrect Privacy Proxy settings or corresponding node is off or down.

Resolution

Re-check Privacy Proxy settings according to the Deploying Privacy Proxy deployment guide.

As a workaround: APS application could be imported by using the following URL: file:///var/www/html/application.app.zip or ftp://fe.odin.com/6fec1/application.app.zip
