Symptoms

I am creating mailbox and trying to send test spam message (eg. GTUBE) to it. The message is delivered to Spam subfolder on account's maildir.

I would like to get an ability to select what to do with spam messages. I cannot find global or mailbox specific option to change that behavior.

Cause

Spam filtering is not enabled.

Resolution

To allow server wide filtering based on the settings you define, go to Hosting Provider CP > Infrastructure > Service Nodes > [select service node] > Spam Filter Settings tab and select the Switch on server-wide SpamAssassin spam filtering checkbox.

To let your users set their own spam filtering preferences on a per-mailbox basis, select the Apply individual settings to spam filtering checkbox.
