There is a mechanism in OBAS known as Event Manager.
To an event one or several actions can be attached.
A notification is an action that is launched on the event it is attached to.
Notifications are edited using the so-called placeholders, for instance if you go
Top > Configuration Director > Event Manager > Events > Invoice due date is over > Actions > Invoice notification for customer and press "Edit" you can see a list of placeholders available and edit a message that will be sent to customers when an invoice due date is over.
To find out which event triggered a certain e-mail, please go
Top > Configuration Director > Logging and Errors > E-Mails Logs > Outgoing E-Mails and locate the e-mail.
Once the e-mail is located, note the date and time it was sent out.
After that, go
Top > Configuration Director > Event Manager > Event Log and check which events were launched at that very time. Check also the e-mail subject and the event name, they must correlate.
In that way you will find the Event that triggered the e-mail sending. The chain is: Event > Action > E-mail. We need to locate the Action now.
Top > Configuration Director > Event Manager > Events, click on the Event name and then Actions tab.
Actions differ for different subscriptions type. Find the subscription type you would like to change notifications for, click on the action configured and proceed with editing the notification.
