Other time-consuming operations may fail with the similar error e.g. loading some APS2.0 pages.
The following message can be found in httpd

Or the following could be observed in
core.log depending on OA version:
DBG [UI:473b269e:10101504:1487908022936 RequestProcessor-2285757 pau 500389092]: com.parallels.pa.service.db.ejb.DBServiceBean Could not acquire connection idorg.hibernate.exception.GenericJDBCException: Could not open connection DBG [UI:473b269e:10101504:1487908022936 1:16453:ef4c3b90 Exchange ]: [ Exchange::MailBoxManagerImpl::importEntities] <=== EXIT (by exception) [300.222969]
Apache timeout set on the branding host is not enough to handle the import operation. Operation requires more time than default PAU transaction timeout (300 seconds).
check the timeout on the branding host:
# less /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf | grep -i '^timeout' Timeout 30
if it is small as shown above, increase it:
# less /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf | grep -i '^timeout' Timeout 120
and restart pemhttpd service on the branding host in case of Legacy Shared Hosting:
# service pemhttpd restart
# service httpd restart
in case of NG hosting.
- Consider splitting big list of emails into smaller ones and import them one by one. 4.
