Symptoms

A VE backup is created for a New VPS subscription, completes without any messages in CCP, but the new backup is not present in the list.

The following error appears in Cloud Infrastructure Log in Provider's CP:

P80326: Subscription limit for backup space exceeded (Request failed)

There is a warning in CCP:

There have been no successful backups of your server for a month now. Please, check if there is enough backup space, try to recreate a backup, or contact administrator.

In case of incremental backup, it is still present in the Virtuozzo backup node backend.

Cause

The subscription limit for the VE backup space is not enough to accommodate the VE backup.

Resolution

Increase the subscription limit for the backup space or remove previous backups to release it.

The fact that failed incremental backups remain on the Virtuozzo backup node has been corrected since OAP 7.0.
