Some renewal orders are stuck in the status "Service not in Sync".
There are two main reason for the orders to be in the status "Service not in Sync":
- This is a domain renewal order and the domain expiration date returned by the registrar is not the same as the subscription expiration date set in PBA.
- This can be any renewal order (domain or hosting susbcription). The sytem could not pass the synchronization step correctly, due to some reason the step of order flow
I3->SY/SFended in SF (Service not in Sync) status. The root cause can be found in the logs (billing/generic_worker and scheduler logs), it can be such errors like
The server is busy,
cancelling statement due to statement timeout, etc.
- Refer to the article kb #121132 "Domain renewal order is in status "Service not in Sync"".
- Submit such orders for processing with the button "Confirm Service Renewal". Investigate the root cause of the failure in order to prevent it from reoccurring.
