Task to create high availability storage (Install additional packages on node 'xxxxx' according role PACI_HN_PSBM) fails with:

Command '/bin/sh -c /usr/local/pem/bin/pcs-config-check' execution failed with code 3: Default VM diretory /var/parallels is located on non-local directory /pcs

  1. It may have been caused due to misconfiguration whereby a symlink on /vz/private and /var/parallels to /pcs was created, instead of creating /pcs as a physical directory.
  2. The misunderstanding over this may have been caused by our documentation bug with designated id CCU-6794.

Generate the symlinks the following way:

# rm -f /vz/private /vz/vmprivate /var/parallels
# ln -s /pcs/private /vz/private
# ln -s /pcs/vmprivate /vz/vmprivate
# ln -s /pcs/vmprivate /var/parallels
