Error while adding new Service Node in PPA:
Internal error: Unknown exception while parsing /usr/local/pem/etc/service_config.xml
Information about Service ID is missed in /usr/local/pem/etc/service_config.xml:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="no" ?> <!DOCTYPE SERVICE_CONFIG PUBLIC "SM" "SM 1.0"> <SERVICE_CONFIG/>
When Service Node is being added pleskd connects from Service Node to Management Node using port 8356. If connection to this port is not permitted by firewall on Management Node, such situation may take a place.
- service_config.xml was corrupted.
- Make sure that requirements for open ports are met for Management Node:
Open TCP ports (PPA-specific) 8880: HTTP access to PPA 8443: HTTPS access to PPA 80, 8352, 8440: Connections between the Administration Panel and service nodes 12443, 10001: The Hosting Panel web server 8354, 8356, 8360, 8362, 8364, 8412, 8490, 8532: Various purposes
Ports should be opened that Service Node can connect ot Management Node.
As workaround, you may apply the following instruction:
- Modify the required file and add records which are used for check availability services on a required service node:
root@apache5 ~]# cat /usr/local/pem/etc/service_config.xml
Where id = 5 it is ID of installed mail service for this service node.
You can find it here:
Top -> Infrastructure -> Service nodes -> Required service node -> Applications - > ID.
Please insert ID number of mail service from your PPA installation.
- Re-run the failed task.
