Symptoms

I have created new domain domain.tld. When I log in to Apache service node and open virtual host directory for created domain I have found that some of required folders are missing, for example conf and statistics folders.

[root@pa_apache ~]# ls -lt /var/www/vhosts/domain.tld/
total 24
drwxr-x--- 7 sub15_83 psaserv 4096 Feb 22 03:30 sub2.domain.tld
drwx------ 4 sub15_83 root 4096 Feb 22 03:30 logs
drwxr-x--- 7 sub15_83 psaserv 4096 Feb 22 03:30 sub1.domain.tld
drwxr-x--- 3 sub15_83 psaserv 4096 Feb 22 03:29 web_users
drwxr-x--- 19 sub15_83 psaserv 4096 Feb 22 03:28 httpdocs
drwxr-xr-x 2 sub15_83 psacln 4096 Feb 22 03:22 error_docs

Where can I find the required folders?

Cause

Virtual hosts structure has been changed since Plesk Automation (PA) 11.5

Resolution

Locating Apache Configuration Files

Apache configuration for domains is located in the files /var/www/vhosts/system/<domain_name>/conf/last_httpd.conf, where <domain_name> is the name of a corresponding domain.

Locating Webspaces on the File System

Webspaces are located on Apache service nodes, in /var/www/vhosts/<domain name>/htdocs/, where <domain_name> is the name of a corresponding domain.

Locating Web Server Logs

Apache log files for each site are located in /var/www/vhosts/system/<domain_name>/statistics/logs, where <domain_name> is the name of a corresponding domain.

Restarting Apache

To restart Apache through the Administration Panel, go to Infrastructure > Services > Apache > Manage application "Apache", click Start / stop operations to stop it and then to start it.

To restart Apache through the command line, issue the following command on the Apache service node:

/etc/init.d/httpd restart
