Question

When switching to a less expensive plan, a customer gets refund in plan switch order. Is it possible to alter this behavior and provide no refunds on plan switch?

Resolution

It is possible to globally disable refunds generation on plan switch. As a result, no refunds are generated on any plan switch operation - even if a customer switches to a more expensive plan, no refund will be issued for the original plan. The change is possible only on the system level and cannot be applied for a certain reseller.

The required behavior is managed by a FEA_NoRefundDuringPlanSwitch feature and can be controlled only through the billing database with no UI setting available.
