A container migration task is failing with the error:

Can't connect to source node (<IP>) : can not read reply from destination node

where <IP> address is external.

The source Virtuozzo node cannot connect to the destination Virtuozzo node through external interface.

  1. Change <primary_address> parameter value in the PVA agent configuration file (usually /var/opt/pva/agent/etc/vzagent.conf) to internal IP address on both nodes to be sure there will be no issue with inappropriate IP selection anymore.

  2. Check that no tasks are scheduled for both nodes in Operations Automation, as they will fail during pva agent service restart.

  3. Restart pva agent service on both nodes:

    ~#/etc/init.d/pvaagentd restart
  4. Restart the task in Operations Automation.
