An attempt to add a new credit card to an account fails with the error message:
This payment method is already present in the system
This message appears in OBAS in two cases:
The credit card is already registered to the same account.
- The credit card belongs to another account and its status is Disabled. The same credit card can be added to more than one account only if it is not Disabled for one of them. This is implemented in such a way to provide some kind of blacklist, so that once the card gets Disabled anywhere in the system (even once) it is deemed as "not trusted" and cannot be added to other accounts in the future.
Find this credit card under
PCC or RCC > Commerce Director > Online Payments > Credit Cards and either delete it or change its status. Please note that the card can be added to customers of both the Provider and multiple Resellers, so the solution can require browsing through PCC and all RCCs.
