IP address of a Virtuozzo node registered in OBAS can be changed by pressing the "Connect" button that is located on the "General Settings" tab of the Virtuozzo node:
`Provider CC > Service Director > Virtuozzo Manager > Nodes > Select node > switch to the "General Settings" Tab, press the "Connect" button and set a new IP address and login credentials for the Virtuozzo node.
OBAS displays the "Connect" button if the following conditions are true:
- Virtuozzo node availability status is defined as "
- Virtuozzo node registration status is set to "
Virtuozzo node can be unregistered by pressing the "
Unregister" button. Availability status is defined automatically by OBAS.
Sometimes OBAS 4.1 cannot determine the availability status correctly. Even if a node is not available by its IP address, availability status is still set to "
Available". If availability status is defined incorrectly, it is not possible to change the IP address for the node.
In this case please use the following workaround:
Unregister the node by pressing the "
Press the "
Click the "
Update" button without updating any fields;
Update procedure should fail with the connection error. After this error the "
Connect" button becomes available.
Press the "
Connect" button and fill the new connection details and click the "
- If the connection was successful, Virtuozzo node settings will be displayed. Press "
Register" button and the Virtuozzo node will be registered with the new IP address.
This workaround will work if a Virtuozzo node cannot be connected by the IP address assigned to it.
