Problem Statement

The provider has two resellers in the PBA-S, and the resellers have their own customers with subscriptions.

The provider wants to move the accounts with all their subscriptions from one reseller to another one.

Another use case - The provider wants to move accounts with all their subscriptions from some reseller directly to the provider account. Or vice-versa, move the account from the provider to some reseller.

Such behavior is considered to be a feature that will be fixed in further product updates released after version 4.5. You can track it using the following ID:

PBAS-25346 - Ability to move customer accounts between Provider - Reseller

The current version of PBA-S does not allow users to move accounts between vendors. It only allows users to move subscriptions between accounts, including the possibility to move subscriptions between accounts of different vendors.

Let's imagine that the provider wants to move account #101 Customer One with all their subscriptions from reseller #1001 Reseller A to reseller #1002 Reseller B.

To solve the problem, the provider needs to create a new account for Customer One (ex: #102) under reseller #1002 Reseller B. The provider then needs to move all subscriptions of the existing account #101 Customer One under Reseller A to the newly created account #102 Customer One under Reseller B**.

After all subscriptions of account #101 Customer One are moved to account #102, account #101 may be canceled.

Important notice: Moving the subscription from account #101 to account #102 will succeed only if Reseller B has the needed type of hosting plan.
