Cause

The reason of problem is that Open-Xchange server cannot find free diskspace to use for file store for new account.

Resolution

Log into Open-Xchange server and check current limit and usage of file store diskspace:

[root@ox-app ~]# /opt/open-xchange/sbin/listfilestore -A oxadminmaster -P <password>
id path                    size reserved used maxctx curctx
 4 file:/var/opt/filestore 2048     2000    0   5000     10

In the example above it may be seen that size of file store is 2048MB and 2000MB is already reserved by existing accounts. So, Open-Xchange cannot reserve diskspace for file store of the new account.

Check if you have free diskspace on Open-Xchange server:

[root@ox-app ~]# df -h
Filesystem            Size  Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/vzfs              20G  5.3G   15G  27% /
none                  512M  4.0K  512M   1% /dev

In this case we see that 15GB is available on Open-Xchange server, so limit of file store may be increased:

[root@ox-app ~]# /opt/open-xchange/sbin/changefilestore -A oxadminmaster -P <password> -s 10240 -i 4
filestore 4 changed

Check if new limit was applied:

[root@ox-app ~]# /opt/open-xchange/sbin/listfilestore -A oxadminmaster -P <password>
id path                     size reserved used maxctx curctx
 4 file:/var/opt/filestore 10240     2200    0   5000     11
