Resolution

When I access FP Web Admin I receive the error:

The requested URL /_vti_bin/_vti_adm/fpadmcgi.exe was not found on this server

Try to restart Apache and look into Apache error_log. If you see something like:

[Tue Aug 23 23:09:30 2005] [error] (2)No such file or directory: Incorrect permissions on stub "/usr/local/frontpage/version5.0/apache-fp/ _vti_bin/fpexe" in FrontPageCheckup(). Until this problem is fixed, the FrontPage security patch is disabled and the FrontPage extensions may not work correctly.

It is a permission problem. Please check that fpexe has the following attributes:

ls -al /usr/local/frontpage/version5.0/apache-fp/_vti_bin/fpexe
-rwsr-xr-x 1 root bin 11451 May 9 03:27
/usr/local/frontpage/version5.0/apache-fp/_vti_bin/fpexe

Also you can check Frontpage RPM integrity with:

rpm -V frontpage
