Symptoms

On Fedora Core release 6  installer sais: Cannot find a valid baseurl for repo: eplupdates

Workaround

As workaround for the issue we can suggest to use additional PPCPL install/update tool options, such as:

-o <yum baseurl> - A yum-style baseurl pointing to a yum repository for the operating system rpms.
-u <yum baseurl> - A yum-style baseurl pointing to a yum repository for any operating system updates.

For example:

# python ./ensim-installer.py -o http://archive.fedoraproject.org/pub/archive/fedora/linux/core/6/i386/os/ -u  http://archive.fedoraproject.org/pub/archive/fedora/linux/core/updates/6/i386/

NOTE: You have to use correct arch (not such as shown in example).

Fedora Public Active Mirrors list is available at:

http://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/publiclist/

You should select the one from the list suitable for his boxe's arch and location.
