Resolution

In order to install PPCP into a container, you should follow these instructions:

1. Open the /etc/sysconfig/vz file and change the VZPRIVRANGE value to "1 N" where N is the max ID of a container you will be using, e.g.:

VZPRIVRANGE="1 10000"

 2. Create a container using the following command:

# vzctl create 120 --ostemplate centos-5-x86_64 --ipadd 208.53.42.131 --hostname domain.com --slmmode slm --slmmemorylimit
268435456:268435456 --diskspace 6000000 --quotaugidlimit=900 --diskinodes=220000 --privvmpages 512000:512000 --nameserver 
192.168.62.254 --searchdomain domain.com --save


3. Start the container and enter it:

# vzctl start 120
# vzctl enter 120


4. Add an  rpm user:

# adduser rpm *
# logout


5. Install PPCP form the node:

# vzpkg install 120 ppcpl10
