You start a container backup via the following:

Top > Service Director > Virtuozzo Manager > Containers > #CTID CT_NAME > Backups > Create Backup

(The #CTID and CT_NAME correspond to the container's ID and default domain.)

The task fails with the following error:

[2011/11/17 04:43:41] [DEBUG] [28594] [HSPC::VZAgent::VZA46::Transport::recv_pkt] Raw packet received (BLOCK) from <packet xmlns:ns1="" xmlns:ns2="" xmlns:xsi="" version="4.0.0" priority="4000" id="8" type="0" time="2011-11-17T03:43:40+0000">
<ns1:message>Invalid packet: env_list is missing or invalid.</ns1:message>

The container's EID is missing in the PBAS database:

~# hspc-sql
mysql> select * from ve where ve_id=<CTID>\G
*************************** 1. row ***************************
              ve_id: CTID
         os_tmpl_id: 502
        platform_id: 3
             is_nbh: 0
 is_custom_resolver: NULL
          vendor_id: 1
         account_id: 6762

The container's EID is stored in the file "eid.conf" on the HW Node where the container resides:

hwnode ~# cat /vz/private/<CTID>/.vza/eid.conf
hwnode ~]#

Put the EID into the container's preferences in the PBAS database:

mysql> update ve set eid='92e0a61a-d925-d14e-b9f8-397e1cddb509' where  ve_id=<CTID>;
Query OK, 1 row affected (0.00 sec)
Rows matched: 1  Changed: 1  Warnings: 0

Additional information

The EID is the preference of the HW Node and Virtuozzo Container. The EID of the HW Node is stored in this table:

mysql> select hw_id, ip_address, shortname, full_version, eid from hw where hw_id=<HWID>;
| hw_id | ip_address      | shortname | full_version | eid  |
|  HWID | NNN.NNN.NNN.NNN | HW_NAME   | 4.6          | NULL |
2 rows in set (0.00 sec)

Use the following command to get the EID of the Hardware Node with the IP "NNN.NNN.NNN.NNN":

~# telnet NNN.NNN.NNN.NNN 4433
