Resolution

The shmpages resource accounts for the total size of shared memory (interprocess communication, shared memory segments, etc.) and mounted tmpfs filesystems. To see how much memory is used by IPC resources, issue the following command:
# ipcs
Also, check if there are any tmpfs partitions in /etc/fstab (or if there are any tmpfs partitions currently mounted in /etc/mtab).
