Cause


The error 'Error 6d9 from HrGetServersForRole' occurs if Exchange server is not available via RPC protocol.

The possible reasons of the problem are:
  • RPC service is not started on target Exchange node
  • RPC ports are blocked by firewall
  • 'File and Print Sharing' is disabled on network adapter

Resolution


Check possible reasons of problem with Exchange server listed above and resolve them.
