Question

The admin's password was lost. Is it possible to change it from CLI?

Answer

You may use a special script /usr/sbin/hspc-config on OBAS server in order to change admin's password and/or login (which is usually an email address).

To change admin's password the following command should be used:

    # /usr/sbin/hspc-config --admin-passwd $NEW\_PASSWORD

where $NEW_PASSWORD is a new admin's password for OBAS /pcc (provider's panel).

Please make sure it is strong enough.

To change admin's login please use the following command:

    # /usr/sbin/hspc-config --admin-email $EMAIL

where $EMAIL is a new admin's login for OBAS /pcc. It is recommended to use valid e-mail to be able to use the feature 'Forgot your password?' which will send authorization code to the email address of admin's account.
