There are two types of Plesk Hosting Plans in OBAS:

  1. Plesk client

  2. Plesk domain

If you subscribe to a Plesk Client hosting plan you will get a client account on a Plesk node. You can manage domains under this client account on your own - create, delete, modify etc. All the limits in subscription will be applied to the client account in Plesk, not to the domains created under this account. In this case all domains will be in status auxiliary, it means that OBAS does not manage them, OBAS manages only the Plesk client.

The client will be limited with:

  • Disk space quota (pc_diskquota)
  • Number of web users (pc_numwebusers)
  • Number of databases (pc_numdb)
  • Number of mailboxes (pc_nummailbox)
  • Mailbox quota (pc_mailboxquota)
  • Number of mail redirects (pc_nummailredir)
  • Number of mail groups (pc_nummailgrp)
  • Number of mail autoresponders (pc_nummailautoresp)
  • Number of mailing lists (pc_nummaillist)
  • Number of web applications (pc_numwebapp)
  • Number of subdomains (pc_numsubdomains)
  • Number of domains (pc_numdomains)
  • Number of IP addresses (pc_numips)
  • Number of domains with DNS hosting provided (numdnshosting)
  • Number of domain aliases (pc_numdomainalias)

There is always an included value (for example one mailbox, one domain) and a maximum consumable value (for example disk space quota - maximum consumable value 1024000 units, then follows the price for one additional unit).

If you subscribe to a Plesk Domain hosting plan they you will get only a single domain on a Plesk node. All the limits in the subscription will be applied to the domain itself, not to the client. In this case OBAS will create an auxiliary client (because a Plesk domain cannot exist without a client account in Plesk) which will be marked as auxiliary. Like in the case with auxiliary Plesk domains, OBAS does not manage limits of an auxiliary Plesk client.

The domain will be limited with:

  • Disk space quota (pd_diskquota)
  • Number of web users (pd_numwebusers)
  • Number of databases (pd_numdb)
  • Number of mailboxes (pd_nummailbox)
  • Mailbox quota (pd_mailboxquota)
  • Number of mail redirects (pd_nummailredir)
  • Number of mail groups (pd_nummailgrp)
  • Number of mail autoresponders (pd_nummailautoresp)
  • Number of mailing lists (pd_nummaillist)
  • Number of Java applications (pd_numwebapp)
  • Number of subdomains (pd_numsubdomains)
  • Dedicated IPs (pd_ip)
  • Hard disk space quota (pd_harddiskquota)
  • Maximum number of Domain Aliases (pd_numdomainalias)
  • Number of domains with DNS hosting provided (numdnshosting)

The client will have all limits set to Unlimited.

There is always an included value (for example one mailbox, one domain) and a maximum consumable value (for example disk space quota - maximum consumable value 1024000 units, then follows the price for one additional unit).
