Symptoms

Customer has got error during user moderation : "The dns record "MAIL.EXAMPLE.COM" already exists. You can use a duplicate DNS record name only for MX records."

Resolution

Here is a workaround to fix the Plan

---

Where NN - plan ID

1. Careful way:

hsphere=# begin;

BEGIN

hsphere=# update plan_iresource set plan_id=-plan_id where plan_id =NN and type_id=2 and new_type_id=1000 and new_mod_id='signup'; UPDATE 7 hsphere=# commit;

restart CP.

a. If plan and user creation works OK, you'll need to delete backuped data:

begin;

delete from  plan_iresource where plan_id =-NN and type_id=2 and new_type_id=1000 and new_mod_id='signup'; commit;

b. If smth goes wrong, rollback changes:

begin;

update plan_iresource set plan_id=-plan_id where plan_id =-NN and

type_id=2 and new_type_id=1000 and new_mod_id='signup'; commit;

2. If this solution occurs to be harmless, you may use easier solution:

begin;

delete from  plan_iresource where plan_id =NN and type_id=2 and new_type_id=1000 and new_mod_id='signup'; commit;

restart CP

Please do not forget to backup hsphere db before you start it.
