Cause

When site is imported from version 4.x it has obsolete /etc/ld.so.conf file that isn't being rewritten during the import process.

Resolution

To fix the problem:

1. After site is imported, log into your Parallels Pro Control Panel box as root

2. Edit the /home/virtual/<site_name>/etc/ld.so.conf file, where <site_name> is name of imported site

3. Make sure the file has the following lines

/usr/kerberos/lib

/usr/kerberos/lib64

/usr/lib/mysql

/usr/lib64/mysql

/usr/X11R6/lib

/usr/X11R6/lib64

Note: usually, the following lines are missing

/usr/kerberos/lib64

/usr/lib64/mysql

/usr/X11R6/lib64

5. Execute the following command to re-cache the libraries

chroot /home/virtual/<site_name>/ ldconfig
where <site_name> is name of the site
