Webalizer is not showing statistics.


There are a few reasons why the webalizer will not show statistics. Please check the following steps:(W2k)

In the VDS HTML GUI edit the Webalizer and check the following: 

a. History Name: webalizer.hist

b. Ignore History is NOT marked.

c. Incremental is marked.

d. Index Page: default.html

e. Extension Log: log

f.  New Extension: old

If this is all set, press finish and check the statistics. If the problem persists please use the following steps:

1. Login to the Windows machine and open 2 explorer windows, The first is to the logs directory of the VDS

[VDS base dir]\Log\W3SVCxxx\.  The second is to the Webalizer directory [VDS base dir]\WWW\Webalizer\.

2. In the Webalizer Directory under the Data Directory backup the webalizer.current & webalizer.hist files and delete the originals.

3. In the Logs directory of the VDS rename all the files from .old to .log  (use DOS command line or an application to do so. from command line type: rename *.old *.log)

4. In the Webalizer Directory execute the webalizer.exe application several times until all the log files are with the .old extension.

Check now if the statistics are complete.
