Symptoms

Unable to install 3rd party SSL certificate

Resolution

There is a known bug in ServerDirector version 3.5 where in some cases openssl libraries need the file /usr/share/ssl/openssl.cnf but a default VDS does not contain this file.

In order to fix this issue for a specific VDS, please copy the file  /usr/share/ssl/openssl.cnf from the machine into the VDS in question.

In order to fix this issue for future VDSs, please copy the file  /usr/share/ssl/openssl.cnf from the machine into the VDS template, located at : /vs/t_1/usr/share/ssl/. The directory  ssl under /vs/t_1/usr/share/ does not exist by default, you will need to create it.
