When trying to add an email account, the following error is displayed:


The source of the problem might be related to the Active Directory and two scenarios might be happening:

Two situations might be happening:

The user was only added to the AD, not to Sphera, and therefore the same user cannot be added again.


When deleting a user account, it is deleted successfully only from Sphere, however, it remains in AD (and therefore the same user cannot be added again in the next attempt).

Both cases might indicate the following:

A missing Origination Unit user of the Server in the AD:
Each SD Organization Unit has an additional temporary Organization Unit.
For example:
sdw111.sph - TEMPORARYOUsdw111.sph
sdw222.sph - TEMPORARYOUsdw222.sph

Sphera created this organization unit and it is being used for internal purposes.

Please recreate this user or contact Sphera Support for assistance.
