When creating a VDS via DCM getting the error:

"No server was available to handle this request. : Account creation failed on server due to error . : Account creation failed on server due to error. The domain name already exists. Enter a different domain name."


However the domain does not exist in SD or DCM.




When adding a new VDS on SDW, DCM is attempting to add new DNS records on the new VDS.
These DNS records are for Primary and Secondary name servers, as they appear at:
DCM -> Preferences -> DNS Configuration
Before adding the DNS records, DCM checks that the domains are resolvable. And in case the domains are not resolvable adding the VDS fails.


In order to verify that this is the issue, login to the DCM machine as the DCM user, and verify that the domains of both Name Servers are resolvable (use dig or nslookup).


In order to solve the issue, please verify that the domains Name Servers are resolvable.
