Cause

Administrative share (C$ in the example above) is disabledo on the server mentioned in the error message. Administrative shares are required to perform provisioning tasks and that they must not be disabled.

Resolution

To enable administrative share change the following registry value on the server in question (mentioned in the failed task properties):
Hive: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Key: SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanManServer\Parameters
Name: AutoShareServer
Data Type: REG_DWORD
Value: 1

Server should be restarted after registry modification in order to recreate administrative shares.
