Symptoms

When adding a domain to Helm, it errors but still adds the domain into Helm. When I then try to remove the domain, it errors and doesn't remove it from Helm. The following errors are found in the error log:

Resolution

This usually occurs when the SOAP toolkit isn't installed on the server (as specified in the Quick Install Guide). Also make sure that XML 4.0 SP2 is installed. Both installers can be found in the Tools sub-folder of the Helm folder.

Also make sure that the SDK part of XML is installed. To check this, in Windows go to:

Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > MS XML 4.0 SP2

Click Modify, then make sure that all components of XML (including the SDK) are installed. If so, there will be no red crosses next to any of the components. If the SDK is not installed, simply choose it from the dropdown and choose to install and run it from that machine.
