Resolution

Problem/Summary

I have my website on IIS6 assigned with its static IP.
Obviously I can't assign this IP to both Helm and my website - so how do I use the one IP for both?

Solution

A static IP can only be used for one site at a time. What you need to do is to assign host headers for the websites so that when you type in the URL for the site, IIS will know which website you are looking for.

e.g. if you are using www.mysite.com for your website then you can set the hostheader as "www.mysite.com" for your main site. If you are using cp.mysite.com to access the control panel you can put "cp.mysite.com" as a hostheader for the Helm Control panel website.
