Resolution

FormMail is a generic WWW form to e-mail gateway, which will parse the results of any form and send them to the specified user. FormMail was included in to preinstalled cgi scripts before H-Sphere version 2.5. http://www.psoft.net/HSdocumentation/user/preinstalled_cgi_scripts_before_25.html It was removed from H-Sphere version 2.5 and up. Most popular issues are: 1. Permissions on formail.pl script are wrong Check whether formail.pl script as well as cgi-bin/ directory have permissions 755 2. RLimitMEM are enabled Enabled RLimitMEM may affect the performance of certain CGI scripts. Users may get the "premature end of script headers" message. http://www.psoft.net/HSdocumentation/admin/controlling_server_resources.html 3. sendmail does not work properly. - check if sendmail works correctly: # echo -e "To:test@unixtest.domain.com \nSubject: Test mail FormMail2\n\n Test mail from via senmail\n" | sendmail -t -i root@mydomainname.com
