Product : Ensim Pro X for Linux

Version : 10.1.0 (Fedora Core 2, Fedora Core 4, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4ES, CentOS 4.1, CentOS 4.2, CentOS 4.3 and CentOS 4.4)

Date :  15-October-2006

Description :

               1. Recursive DNS open for outside world.
               2. Cancel button not working properly for RA and SA levels.
               3. While editing records, in case error is produced the record gets deleted.
               4. Add/edit of TXT records shows the data in double quotes at RA and SA levels.
               5. Nameservers of local box other than the hostname are not treated as local.

Resolution:
1. The on|off toggle for recursive DNS was not working on the CLI. After applying this hotfix, it would perform its assigned operation accurately.
2. Cancel buttons on the DNS related pages were opening the homepage of the respective level in the main frame. Now it takes the control back to the previous page.
3. While editing a record inside a particular zone, if incorrect values were being entered, the record would get deleted. Now the error is shown and the record with the previous values is still in the record list.
4. When TXT records were added or edited, the text data got enclosed in double quotes at the Reseller and Site Administrator levels. Now the text data would appear without the double quotes.
5. Earlier if zones were created with nameservers local to the EPL server, they were treated as external servers and hence unless they were added to the external server list, the zone would not get created. Then too the zone would not be created as master. Now if any such local nameservers are present for the EPL server then they should be added to the file /etc/virtualhosting/localnameserver using the command -

/usr/lib/opcenter/bind/add_local_nameserver <name server>

If any server needs to be removed from this file, it can be done through the command -

/usr/lib/opcenter/bind/delete_local_nameserver <name server>

The hostname of the box would be included in the file by default when the file gets created, that is when a nameserver is added to it for the first time or when a zone is created for the first time after applying the hotfix.
