Description: Fixes defect “System busy. Please try the operation later.”

Cause:

The process which executes xcacls.exe utility (used to set default permissions) was waiting for output from xcacls which was not getting set.

How to test:

1. Before applying this patch upload around 20 MB of data through ftp/filemanager.

2. Login as organization admin and on the home page under file manager section click set default permissions and click apply.

3. The above action does not get completed and is always in running state. Connect to server and open task manager. Go to processes tab and right click on xcacls process and select end process.

4. Now try to do some activities from CP and ensure that CP is running.

5. Apply the patch and now run set default permissions option through CP and it should get completed successfully.

File to patch: FileManagerRemoteService.dll

Installation Procedure:

1. Connect to the machine where EPW is installed

2. Stop Ensim Provision Engine

            Goto Programs->Administrative Tools->Component Services.

            Expand Component Services->My computer->COM+ Application

            Right click on EnsimProvisionEngine and select shutdown.

3. Goto <install_dir>\cp\admin\bin\serviceComponents\filemanager directory

            where <install_dir> refers to the path where Ensim Pro is installed. For example, if Ensim

            Pro is installed in C:\Program Files\Ensim\WEBppliance, then goto

            C:\Program Files\Ensim\WEBppliance\cp\admin\bin\serviceComponents\filemanager directory.

4. Backup existing FileManagerRemoteService.dll to some other place

5. Replace FileManagerRemoteService.dll with the version located at the same location from where you are reading this file.

6. Goto <install_dir>\cp\admin\siteadmin\serviceComponents\filemanager\FMWeb\bin directory

            where <install_dir> refers to the path where Ensim Pro is installed. For example, if Ensim

            Pro is installed in C:\Program Files\Ensim\WEBppliance, then goto

            C:\Program Files\Ensim\WEBppliance\cp\admin\siteadmin\serviceComponents\filemanager\FMWeb\bin directory.

7. Backup existing FileManagerRemoteService.dll to some other place

8. Replace FileManagerRemoteService.dll with the version located at the same location from where you are reading this file.

9. Copy EnsimBackenInterface.dll file from

<install_dir>\cp\admin\bin directory to <install_dir>\cp\admin\siteadmin\serviceComponents\filemanager\FMWeb\bin directory

Where <install_dir> refers to the path where Ensim Pro is installed.

For example, if Ensim Pro is installed in

C:\Program Files\Ensim\WEBppliance

then copy EnsimBackenInterface.dll file from

C:\Program Files\Ensim\WEBppliance\cp\admin\bin directory to

C:\ProgramFiles\Ensim\WEBppliance\cp\admin\siteadmin\serviceComponents\filemanager\FMWeb\bin directory.

10. start Ensim Provision Engine

            Goto Programs->Administrative Tools->Component Services.

            Expand Component Services->My computer->COM+ Application

            Right click on EnsimProvisionEngine and select start.
