Title
Hotfix for changing the hostname of the WEBppliance Pro for Windows server.

Summary
Hotfix for changing the hostname of the WEBppliance Pro for Windows server.

Prevention

Details

Important : This hot fix is applicable to Webppliance Pro for Windows 3.2.x (WS) only

When one changes the hostname of the Windows box and then uses network configuration utility (available from Start Menu/Programs/Ensim Webppliance/Network Configuration) to reconfigure Webppliance with the new hostname, DNS host records are corrupted. This leads to unusable state of DNS server (ISC BIND) hosted on the Webppliance box. In order to resolve this issue, you need to apply the following hot fix.

To resolve this you would need to overwrite the 'changeip.vbs' on your system with the new 'changeip' script available at :

http://download.swsoft.com/ensim/download/webppliance/windows/pro/hotfix/ChangeIP.vbs

By default the script is located at
c:\program files\ensim\Webppliance\util

assuming the Webppliance installation path is c:\program files\ensim\Webppliance on your server.
