Title
Unable to connect to the server using SSH after upgrading to WEBppliance Pro 3.5

Summary
Unable to connect to the server using SSH after upgrading to WEBppliance Pro 3.5.x from WEBppliance 3.1.x or 3.0.x

Prevention

Details

An upgrade to WEBppliance Pro 3.5.x from WEBppliance 3.1.x or 3.0.x upgrades the complete OS to Red Hat Linux 7.3 due to which all the system libraries are also upgraded.

Though existing SSH connections are not closed, the
SSH service must be restarted to allow new connections.

When the upgrade completes, run the following command:
service sshd restart

You can also restart the SSH service using the SERVICES Menu  in the WEBppliance Control Panel.

Note: For users with Telnet service Disabled

If you do not have console (physical) access to the system, consider enabling Telnet service, atleast till the time upgrade completes successfully and you have restarted the SSH service as mentioned above.

This will ensure that you will still have shell access to the system if in the unlikely event,
SSH session breaks during upgrade and Webppliance has not started up yet.
