MySQL command LOAD DATA LOCAL INFILE does not work

MySQL command LOAD DATA LOCAL INFILE does not work

When using LOAD DATA LOCAL INFILE command with MySQL, MySQL reports the following error:

The used command is not allowed with this MySQL version

RedHat has changed how MySQL is configured in RedHat 7.3.  MySQL was not configured with "--enable-local-infile" option.  This means that mysql clients must explicitly set this option.

For example, if you are using 'mysql' client via telnet or ssh, then you would connect to your database like this:

mysql -u user -p --local-infile=1 yourdatabase

Note : The user also requires the "File" Privilage (File_Priv)
(MySQL root user has this previlage by default)

Then you will be able to use 'load data local infile' form of the command.
