Title
After upgrading perl CGIs do not work

Summary
After upgrading perl CGIs do not work

Prevention

Details

After you upgrade from WEBppliance 3.x to WEBppliance Pro 3.5 perl CGIs will not work because CGI.pm was provided by the perl RPM in RedHat 7.1 & 7.2. In RedHat 7.3 CGI.pm is provided by perl-CGI which is not installed by WEBppliance. So after an upgrade perl CGIs will stop working. To fix this problem you can install perl-CGI on to your server, you can download it from:

ftp://rpmfind.net/linux/redhat/7.3/en/os/i386/RedHat/RPMS/perl-CGI-2.752-34.99.6.i386.rpm

You should also install this on any new servers as well. As this RPM is not installed on WEBppliance for Linux Pro LH new installs (dedicated & private servers). On WEBppliance for Linux Pro LS its installed as part of the RedHat 7.3 install.
